Fishing Seasons
Whether you want to chase trophy bass, enjoy a family outing, or improve your fishing skills, I offer trips tailored to your goals and experience level.
Spring (Mar - May)
Prime time for pre-spawn and spawning bass. River fishing picks up as water temperatures rise. Excellent action on both rivers and lakes.
Summer (Jun - Aug)
Peak season for smallmouth and largemouth bass. Early mornings and evenings offer the best fishing. Stripers on Raystown are very active.
Fall (Sept - Nov)
Fantastic fishing as fish feed heavily before winter. Beautiful foliage adds to the experience. Some of the year's best action.
Winter (Dec - Feb)
Limited availability. Contact me to discuss winter fishing opportunities and conditions.
Every Trip is Customized
These trip options are starting points - not rigid packages. Every group is different, and I tailor each outing to match your experience level, physical ability, and what you're hoping to get out of the day.
Want to focus on learning fly fishing? Interested in trophy fish only? Prefer a relaxed pace with plenty of time to enjoy the scenery? Just let me know what you're looking for, and we'll make it happen.
Important note: While I work hard to put you on fish, fishing success is never guaranteed. Weather, water conditions, and fish behavior can vary. What I can guarantee is my best effort, safe practices, and an authentic outdoor experience.
